FACS New Teacher Academy-July 2017

New Teacher Academy will take place at ODCTE on July 17-19, 2017. It is a required educational opportunity designed to assist new and experienced CareerTech educators to teach Family and Consumer Sciences. Participants will gain new resources, learn appropriate procedures, engage in activities, hear from a panel of current teachers and network with teachers from across the state.

Monday afternoon sessions (12:15-5:00pm) will be for those who have never taught in a public school setting. Please eat lunch prior to the meeting; light refreshments will be served.

All teachers preparing to teach FACS will attend Tuesday (8:30am - 4:15pm) and Wednesday (8:00am - 4:00pm) sessions. A continental breakfast, lunches, and snacks will be served.

Business casual dress is expected.

CANCELLATION NO SHOW POLICY

All registrants who have not canceled 7 days prior to the conference will be invoiced regardless of conference attendance. Cancellations must be made online. Substitutions will be accepted up until the day of the conference.
